Water Adventures

Open canoeing and kayaking on beautiful lakes and rivers to climbing waterfalls and leaping into sparkling plunge pools against a backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery is something else, truly invigorating and fun. With the English Lake District as our main adventure playground for water based adventure breaks you'll easily see why when you're paddling on Ulswater or famous Coniston Water.

There are hidden tarns and less well known plunge pools and Lake District mountain streams for enjoying everyone's favourite, gorge scrambling. Also known as gorge walking, canyoneering and canyoning, gorge scrambling involves ascending/ descending a mountain stream with slides, dives, jumps and scrambles, if you've never done gorge scrambling, you'll love it.
