Are you ready for something completely new!

This unique trip will not only be an adventure along a lovely quiet section of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, but it will also be one of the few trips to navigate the length of the Foulridge Canal.

The trip is also an amazing opportunity to experience the unique nature of one of the UK’s longest tunnels on the canal network – the 1-mile long Foulridge Tunnel – where we’ll travel through it in complete darkness except for headtorches and paddle board lights. A totally unique, fun and memorable experience, only ever undertaken by a few people.

MAKE IT AN ADVENTURE WEEKEND

To make it a 2-day adventure weekend, on Sunday we also have a guided social walk (£15) of the Singing Ringing Tree, located in the region. Simply visit our Where’s The Walk website to book a place on the walk.

What should I wear / bring with me for the activity ?

We provide qualified instruction plus all necessary buoyancy aids and paddleboarding (SUP) equipment.

A full kit list and recommendations of what to wear and bring with you on the day will be provided with your full booking confirmation.

Below is a list of suggested items you may need over the course of the day in order to remain warm and comfortable.

Trainers, or similar footwear, you don’t mind getting wet
Swim wear and clothing you don’t mind getting wet
Base layer synthetic top
Fleece top
Hat and gloves if the westher is cool
Full change of clothing including shoes for after the activity
Any medication you need
Towel for after the activity
Bin bag for wet clothes after the activity
